How to Administer
The dose of Advantix varies depending on the dog’s weight. Your veterinarian, therefore, after weighing your dog, will recommend the best dose.
For dogs weighing more than 40 kg, the pipettes can be combined. In animals weighing less than 1.5 kg, Advantix is not recommended, as well as in puppies under seven weeks.
The entire contents of the Advantix® pipette should be administered in the neck, then separate the hair well with your hands, place the tip of the pipette on your skin and slowly inject the contents by repeatedly pressing.
For dogs with a weight greater than 10 kg, it is best to administer it at different points. Advantix® should only be applied to healthy skin. Avoid dog contact with any cats in the house after application. As mentioned, Advantix® is toxic to cats!
It is also advisable to avoid touching the area until the product dries. Avoid a couple of days of bathing the dog at sea as the drug is harmful to aquatic organisms.
Advantix’s active ingredients are generally well-tolerated by dogs. There is rarely skin irritation, redness, itching, hair loss, and itching.
After the Advantix® application, the dog rarely appears lethargic and behaves differently. Mostly you notice gastrointestinal problems such as vomiting and nausea. Neurological symptoms, such as fluctuating movements and spasms, as Advantix ® side effects, are also very rare.
